ENGLISH: It's official: "Time Traveller", the new album by The Wimshurst's Machine is out now! 37 tracks, 2 CDs, more than 120 minutes of award-winning music with an 18 pages booklet (with a short novel in italian, the song lyrics and the marvelous arts of the Spectrum Artist 2006 Daniele Scerra). We are absolutely proud of it! :-)
In this album, mastered by TCREC in Torino, Italy (the same who were also mastering the "Eiffel65") we feature also several great musician friends from around the world, such as Corrado Rossi, Lisa & KMP, DCallen, Gamma Leonis, Scott Hill & Mediterranea, Queenie, Andrea Ferroni and Trulala! We are particularly proud of the great work they have made with us and we thanks them for the great experience that was to work with them!

ENGLISH: Hope this 2007 started well for all of you. From TWM side, "Time Traveller" is complete, mastered and built. As always we run a little late with the phisical print of the album & the quite big booklet (18 pages full of narration and of the marvelous Daniele Scerra artworks). We really can't wait to have this huge concept out, and really hope our huge work (36 tracks, over 2 hours of music, a new packaging, great arts, high level professional mastering, a great novel) would be appreciated by you all! ITALIANO: Con l'augurio che queste news vi trovino ad aver iniziato il 2007 nel migliore dei modi, sul fronte TWM "Time Traveller" è completo, masterizzato e pronto per andare alle stampe. Come al solito abbiamo sottovalutato l'enorme mole di lavoro necessaria a completarlo (è un doppio album con 36 pezzi, oltre due ore di musica, una confezione "differente" ed accattivante, un libretto di 18 pagine, contenente un lungo racconto "Time Traveller" e le meravigliose tavole di Daniele Scerra, e un mastering professionale di alto livello). Speriamo l'enorme mole di lavoro che ci siamo accollati vi trovi favorevolmente impressionati! Noi sicuramente ce la stiamo mettendo tutta... Comunque ora non restano che la stampa del booklet, dei CD e la pratica SIAE, ma dovremmo farcela entro febbraio (tenete le dita incrociate)! Nel frattempo non vi lasceremo a secco: l'etichetta britannica Astranova ha infatti pubblicato "Freedom lights", una raccolta dei 18 migliori brani tratti dai nostri due primi CD (tra cui 2 anteprime da "Time Traveller"), rimasterizzati e talvolta in mix alternativi o in "radio edit". ENGLISH: yes, we are running a bit late with Time Traveller, but is cause we want to make a perfect job. And since now almost every detail is fixed, we assure will be well worth the wait: a double CD with a total of 38 tracks, for a total time of 140 minutes of music and a very cool special packaging edition with the arts of our Daniele Scerra (see also the photo section of our site). The final roster of artists who collaborated with us in it is now complete. They are: Queenie (3 tracks), Corrado Rossi, Dave Long (2 tracks), John Worsley, Scott Hill, Lisa & KMP, Trulala, Andrea Ferroni, DCallen (1 track each). The final mastering will be made by a great italian studio (who works also for big names of the italian scene, such as Eiffel 65) and the official release date, due to the mastering & printing time, will be January 1st, 2007. No more delays, then! :-)

ITALIANO: anche se siamo in ritardo su quanto avevamo preventivato, ora siamo in dirittura d'arrivo e vi assicuriamo che ne varrà la pena: 38 brani divisi su due CD per un totale di 140 minuti, in cui troverete artisti di caratura internazionale, come Queenie (3 pezzi), Corrado Rossi, Dave Long (2 pezzi), John Worsley, Scott Hill, Lisa & KMP, Trulala, Andrea Ferroni, DCallen (1 pezzo ciascuno) e la grafica sarà curata dal nostro grande Daniele Scerra (vedete anche la sezione foto del nostro sito per alcune anteprime). Il mastering finale verrà realizzato da uno studio professionale italiano (che, tra l'altro, ha lavorato con artisti del calibro di Eiffel 65). La data di uscita ufficiale è quindi fissata: 1 Gennaio 2007. Nessun ulteriore ritardo, quindi! :-)

If you're curious enough, you'll hear the voices talk in Italian but the music is universal and you'll hear lots of TWM music, including several previews from the new incoming album, "Time Traveller", and including several tracks of the "giants" who inspired us to move on this path.
